Hideaki Anno was directly involved in writing the ninth episode of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. The founder and president of Khara also published tweets explaining several details behind the episode’s production on the studio’s secondary social media . Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers regarding the involvement of Hideaki Anno in episode 9 of the Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime below.

In the first tweet, Anno described the amphibious Mobile Suits that appeared at the end of the ninth episode. He asked the show’s director Kazuya Tsurumaki to have them appear with a minimal amount of work. The team only needed to depict the upper halves of the Mobile Suits, as they had just returned to the surface after working underwater.
